Intensely satisfying, with a smoky, concentrated flavor—we’ve roasted these beans to such a deep, black-purple, if we cooked them any longer, they’d literally burst into flames! Coffee beans lose about 25% of their weight when roasted to this degree; in fact, only super dense beans from the world's highest growing regions can endure it. Ours come from the high altitudes of Latin America (and they endure it deliciously!).
